Your account and security
Your profile and preferences, how you sign in, and keeping your account secure.
Everything here is yours alone, under the Account group in Settings.
Profile
- Name and photo, shown to your teammates.
- Timezone: every time in the app is shown in it.
- Time format (12 or 24 hour) and Start week on, for the calendar.
- Appearance: light, dark or match your system.
- Default workspace and Default page: where you land when you sign in.
- Composer panel: which panel opens beside the editor.
Email addresses
Add more than one address under Email addresses with Add email address. Each new one is verified with a code, and any verified address can become the one you sign in with.
Signing in
- Password: Change password at any time.
- Passkeys: sign in with your device's fingerprint, face or security key instead of a password. Add one per device.
- Connected accounts: sign in with Google.
Two-step verification
Turn on Two-step verification for a code from an authenticator app at every sign-in. Keep the Backup codes somewhere safe: each one gets you in once if you lose your device. Generate new codes replaces them.
Sessions
Active sessions lists every device signed in to your account. Sign out all other devices if you've lost one, or signed in somewhere you shouldn't have.
Delete your account
Delete my account permanently deletes your account, the workspaces you own, and your place in everyone else's. It can't be undone.
Security at Orbitwrite
- We never see your social network passwords. Channels are connected through each network's own sign-in, and the access they grant is encrypted at rest.
- AI agents and API keys see your channels by name and handle; nothing can read the credentials behind them.
- See the subprocessors we use and our privacy policy.
