Auto-engagement
Comment on, like or repost your own post automatically, a few minutes after it goes live.
Auto-engagement queues actions on a post that run after it publishes: a first comment with the link, a like from your company page, a repost from a teammate's account. Set it on the post, and Orbitwrite does it at the right moment.
Auto-engagement is part of the Pro and Advanced plans, which include a monthly allowance of interactions.
Add it to a post
In the composer, open the channel's auto-engagement options and turn on what you want:
- Auto-comment: one or more comments, each from a chosen account, each after a delay you set (five minutes by default). A common use is putting the link in the first comment, on networks that show posts with links less.
- Auto-react: a like from one of your accounts.
- Auto-repost: a repost from one of your accounts.
Each action can come from any channel in the workspace on the same network, so your company account can like your founder's post.
Where it works
| Network | Comment | Like | Repost |
|---|---|---|---|
| X | Yes | Yes | Yes |
| Bluesky | Yes | Yes | Yes |
| Mastodon | Yes | Yes | Yes |
| Threads | Yes | Yes | |
| Facebook Pages | Yes | Yes | |
| From the posting account only |
On LinkedIn, only a comment written when the post is composed, posted by the account that published it, is allowed. LinkedIn's terms treat automated reactions, reshares and comments from other accounts as artificial engagement.
Defaults for a channel
To start every new post from a channel with the same actions, set them under the channel's settings in Settings → Channels. Anyone can change them on a particular post.
Notify Slack or Discord
The same panel can Notify Slack or Notify Discord when the post goes live, by posting to a channel you pick. See Notifications.
Auto-DM
To message the people who repost or reply to a post, see Auto-DM.
