Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 11, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains what information Orbitwrite collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. We collect only what we need to run the service.
1. Information we collect
When you create an account we collect your name, email address, and password. When you connect a social account we store the access tokens and profile details needed to publish on your behalf. We also store the content you draft, schedule, and publish through the service.
2. How we use your information
We use your information to operate the service: authenticating you, publishing your scheduled content, sending transactional emails, and providing support. We do not sell your personal information.
3. Connected social platforms
Access tokens for connected platforms are stored encrypted and used only to perform the actions you request, such as publishing posts and fetching engagement data. Disconnecting an account removes its tokens from our systems.
4. Data retention
We keep your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it by law.
5. Sharing
We share data with the service providers that help us run Orbitwrite, such as hosting, storage, and email delivery, under contracts that limit how they may use it. We may disclose information if required by law.
6. Security
We protect your data with encryption in transit and at rest, access controls, and audit logging. No system is perfectly secure, so we encourage you to use a strong, unique password.
7. Your rights
You can access, update, or delete your account information at any time from your account settings. You can also request deletion of your data by following our data deletion instructions. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights such as data portability or the right to object to certain processing.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or through the service before the changes take effect.
9. Contact
