Data Deletion
Last updated: June 28, 2026
You can delete the data Orbitwrite holds about you at any time. This page explains the options and what each one removes.
1. Disconnect a single social account
To remove the data tied to one connected platform — its access tokens, profile details, and the post history for that account — open Settings → Accounts, find the account, and choose Disconnect. Its tokens are deleted from our systems immediately.
2. Delete your entire Orbitwrite account
To erase all of your data — your profile, every connected social account, and all drafted, scheduled, and published content — open Settings → Account and choose Delete account. We delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it by law.
3. Remove Orbitwrite from the platform side
You can also revoke Orbitwrite directly from a connected platform (for example, Instagram or Threads under Settings → Website permissions / Apps and websites). When a platform notifies us that you removed access, we automatically revoke the matching connection and stop publishing on your behalf.
4. Request deletion by email
If you can't sign in or would prefer we handle it for you, email support@orbitwrite.com from the address on your account and ask us to delete your data. We will confirm once it is done.
