X joins Bluesky, Mastodon, Threads, LinkedIn, Discord, and Slack as a platform that can engage with its own posts.
In the composer's Auto-engagement section you can turn on a reply, a like, or a repost for each account. Pick which of your accounts performs it, add a delay of anywhere from nothing to seven days, and write the reply with media, a GIF, or a poll if you want one.
Replying to a thread
On a threaded post you now choose where the auto-reply goes. End of thread attaches it to the last item that published, which is what you usually want for a link or a call to action. First post puts it under the opening item instead.
Keep auto-reply chains short. A retry partway through a long chain can repeat the earlier items.
If you connected X before today
Auto-like needs a permission we did not previously ask for. Reconnect your X account from Settings and it will start working. Auto-repost needs nothing extra.
