Chain posts into a thread
Each post in the chain carries its own 500-character count, and publishes as a reply to the one before it.
Quote posts and reply controls
Quote another post, and pick who is allowed to reply: everyone, accounts you follow, your followers, mentioned accounts only, or just the original author.
See the post before Threads does
The preview sits beside the draft and updates as you type — the chain as it will read top to bottom, on desktop and on mobile.
Comments and suggested edits
Highlight any part of a draft to leave a comment, or suggest a rewrite your teammate can accept in one click. The thread stays on the post instead of scattering across Slack.

Carousels and video
Up to ten images in a carousel, or a single video of up to five minutes. Threads won't take images and video in the same post, and the composer says so while you write.
