  • Sign in, no API key
  • Every author posts to their own channels
  • Your approvals still apply

Set up in three steps

Install it from your dashboard, sign in once, and share.

  1. 1

    Install the plugin

In WordPress, open Plugins, then Add New Plugin, and search for Orbitwrite. Install it and activate it.

  2. 2

    Connect your account

Open Orbitwrite in the admin menu and choose Connect Orbitwrite. Sign in, and you're back in WordPress with your channels listed.

  3. 3

    Share an article

Open the Share on Orbitwrite sidebar in the editor. The post starts from your article's title, link and featured image, ready to schedule.

See how it did, in WordPress

Every article lists the posts sent for it, whether each is scheduled, awaiting approval or live, with a link to the live post. Published posts show their impressions, reactions, comments, reposts and link clicks.

The Orbitwrite page and a dashboard widget compare your last four weeks with the four before, with your top posts, and have a composer for posts that aren’t about an article.

The details

The composer you know from Orbitwrite, in the place you already write.

Different words per channel

Every channel uses the main post until you untick Same as main post, then it takes its own text or image.

Counts as you type

Each channel shows its character count, and flags anything its network won't take, like an Instagram post with no image.

Next slot, a time, or now

Drop it into your workspace's next free posting time, pick one yourself, or publish straight away.

Images at the right size

The featured image goes to each network at the largest size it accepts, picked from the sizes WordPress already made.

Drafts that stick around

Close the sidebar or reload the page and the post you were writing is still there.

Each author, their own account

Everyone on the site connects their own Orbitwrite account, so a post goes out with their permissions and to their channels.

Approvals included

If your role needs sign-off to publish, a post from WordPress waits for a reviewer, who approves it in the app or in Slack.

Classic Editor too

On a site running the Classic Editor, the same share box sits on the edit screen.

A Social column in Posts

The Posts list shows which articles have been shared, with a Share link on every row.

The plugin is free on WordPress.org and works with any Orbitwrite plan. The setup guide covers each setting. The same workspace takes posts from Claude, ChatGPT and the CLI, with the same approvals.
