Most posts are not written from nothing. They are last month's version with the numbers changed, or the one that did well, said again a different way.
Duplicate now sits wherever a post does:
- the
...menu on any post card, on the schedule and the planner, where right-click gives you the same menu - the composer's own menu, while you are working on something
- a published post, where it reads Duplicate as draft
What you get
A new draft, unscheduled. Everything else comes with it: each account's own version of the text, every part of a thread, media, polls, the quote or reply it was pointed at, the link preview, reply settings and auto-engagement. The title, tags and campaign come across from the Info panel too, so a duplicate lands in the same campaign as its original rather than losing track of what it belongs to.
What it deliberately leaves behind is the time and the identity. A duplicate is not scheduled for anything, and it is not connected to the post that already went out. It is a new post that happens to start with the same words.
