YouTube
Upload videos and Shorts to your YouTube channel.
Connect
Choose YouTube under Settings → Channels → Connect and sign in with the Google account that owns the channel.
What you can post
- A video. Every YouTube post is one video, which becomes the upload. The post's text is the description.
- A Short: choose the Short format for a vertical video short enough to be one.
Options
- Title, up to 100 characters.
- Privacy: public, unlisted or private.
- Category and tags.
- Made for kids: YouTube requires you to say whether it is.
- Altered or synthetic content: YouTube's label for realistic video made or changed with AI.
Analytics
Views, likes and comments per video, and subscriber counts. YouTube's policies only let apps keep statistics they re-check regularly, so YouTube numbers are refreshed every three weeks for as long as they're kept.

Good to know
- Hashtags: the first three in the description show above the title. Over 60 and YouTube ignores them all.
- Processing: YouTube processes uploads after accepting them, so a long video can take a while to go live.
