Bluesky
Post, thread and quote on Bluesky, on bsky.social or your own server.
Connect
Choose Bluesky under Settings → Channels → Connect, enter your handle (such as you.bsky.social or your own
domain), and sign in on your server's page. Accounts on self-hosted servers work too.
What you can post
- Posts and threads. The 300-character limit counts the way Bluesky does, so an emoji counts as one.
- Images, up to four, each with alt text, or one video, or a GIF from GIF search.
- Quote posts and replies, by pasting a post's link.
Inbox, analytics and engagement
- Inbox: replies and mentions.
- Analytics: likes, replies, reposts and quotes. Bluesky doesn't report impressions.
- Auto-engagement: comment, like and repost.
- Auto-DM: message people who repost or reply. A channel connected before Auto-DM needs reconnecting once to grant the chat permission. Bluesky only delivers DMs from accounts people follow, unless they've opened their DMs to everyone.

Good to know
- Image size. Bluesky's upload limit is tight; large photos are resized to fit.
- Hashtags link to search and power custom feeds, so use the ones communities already follow.
