# Facebook

> Publish to the Facebook Pages you manage.

## Connect

Orbitwrite publishes to **Facebook Pages**, not personal profiles. Choose **Facebook** under
**Settings → Channels → Connect**, sign in, and choose the Pages to allow. Each Page becomes its own channel.

If you see "That Facebook account has no Pages", create a Page or ask a Page admin to give you access, then connect
again.

## What you can post

- **Text posts**, with link previews.
- **Images**, up to ten, or **one video**.

## Inbox, analytics and engagement

- **Inbox**: comments on your Page's posts. Meta doesn't give apps a way to read mentions.
- **Analytics**: per-post engagement and Page follower counts.
- **Auto-engagement**: comment and like.

## Good to know

- **Hashtags** do little for a Page's reach. One or two at most.
- **Engagement bait** ("comment YES if…") is demoted by Facebook; the [post score](https://orbitwrite.com/docs/guides/composer/post-score) flags it.
